The japanese celebrated the 100th anniversary of the presence of the legendary english tea brand Lipton in their country, with building up a tea room in the Ozone Living Design Center in Tokyo, that evokes the world of the Alice in Wonderland story.

The japanese designer company, Nendo designed the room, in which the size of the tables and the chairs are distroted to heighten the room’s sense of receding depth, and the narrowing wall is covered with a wallpaper that has the figures from the story on it.

With these tiny things they made the walls look even narrower than they really are, that evokes the disproportionateness and strangeness of Wonderland.

The size of the chairs changes how Alice changed after eating the cake. The smallest one is so small you can hardly sit on it, the biggest is so big that your feet wouldn’t reach the ground.

I never ever want to go to any other tea parties.
