So it’s time to think about some kind of hat that will keep our head warm. And if you’re like me, always sticking those headphones into your ears, and maniacally fashion orientated, always trying to be one step ahead of the others (or even two steps ahead, somewhere noone will ever arrive at all), you’ll be happy to learn you can combine all these.

This helmet looking hat by Motorola is called . It has integrated bluetooth wireless speakers and a microphone, but also they can be used in the traditional wired way with any mp3 or CD players.

It’s a bit scary when the virtual and actual realities clashes, it’s a bit like bringing something with ourselves from a dream. It’s weird when the computer becomes so much a part of our everyday life, that it doesn’t even surprise us anymore, when one of it’s components becomes a part of our home, too, as piece of furniture. And the most scariest thing is, we love it.

Behind the company MIXKO there are designers Nahoko Koyama from Japan and Alexander Garnett from the UK, who met in a college in London. The characteristic of their works is giving a new function to the objects already in use.

It would be very useful to have PAUSE and HOME buttons in real life. So far, they’re only available as stools.

There aren’t many kids who would sit still while their mum is making the table. But maybe, if these soft hands would keep them in their place, maybe it would be more succesfull.

The lithuanian RASA deSIGN is Rasa Baradinskiene, who is a freelancer since 2000, designing her dream furniture ever since. Like the one above that’s called Mama, she likes to turn something ordinary into extraordinary. And we also like a hug sometimes…

Let’s pair my two favourite things. Design and dining. But this time, it’s not design in dining, but dining in design!

On those days, when you’re fed up with everything, it’s nice and comforting to get lost in everyday objects for a bit. We can also try and look for the beauty even in those things that aren’t normally considered pretty. Like a crumpled plastic cup. Especially, if it’s made from porcelain.
