It’s a bit scary when the virtual and actual realities clashes, it’s a bit like bringing something with ourselves from a dream. It’s weird when the computer becomes so much a part of our everyday life, that it doesn’t even surprise us anymore, when one of it’s components becomes a part of our home, too, as piece of furniture. And the most scariest thing is, we love it.

Behind the company MIXKO there are designers Nahoko Koyama from Japan and Alexander Garnett from the UK, who met in a college in London. The characteristic of their works is giving a new function to the objects already in use.

It would be very useful to have PAUSE and HOME buttons in real life. So far, they’re only available as stools.
