We did write about a beautiful shadow lamp before. The idea behind the New York-based artist, Adam Frank‘s Lumen is similar, but still it is something new.

It is an oil lamp, so as the flame flickers the shadow moves about organically. The stand is made of stainless-steal, and it comes with two 17-hour fuel cells.

You can now order it at the website of the designer, where you can also find his other great works, including installations investigating light and shadow.
