A green banana, that you buy thinking it will turn yellow and ripe. Something like this is the concept of the dutch company, De Groene Banaan. This is the idea that made them create their product named Ivy.

Ivy is an external hard drive. It’s easy to guess: when you start using it by storing data, it will alter its skin visualising the content of the hard disk.

The pattern is always personal: it is created by the actual data, so it will be different every time you upload something new on it.

It’s not really appropriate to talk about calories during the holidays, but still. Even though the prototype is only in process at the moment, we really like this slicer, that cruelly shows us all the disadvantages of being the cheese lover I am.

This slim slicer has been designed for hard cheese, and would be a great tool to keep yourself to your diet.
Just so you have something to click on while munching on christmas goodies, go and visit Artnet, where you can find a gallery of this years Design Miami. It’s available for three months only.

Although there are too much brown and leather and too many chairs for my liking, it is still worth to check out, there are some very nice design ideas!
