That first one is for soft cheeses like Brie & Camembert. The second’s a server as far as I can tell. The third one is a cheese plane for cheeses like edam, cheddar or gouda and the last one is for very hard cheeses like parmesan.

oh wow thanks! i wonder if the smiling faces make it harder to use them properly though, esp. with soft cheeses. :-)

Actually, it makes them easier (or at least holes in general do) because there’s less surface for the soft cheese to stick to. The planer’s mouth is likely an actual blade.
