I love how future was imagined in the 60s and I wish the space age wasn’t only a concept. Luckily every now and then someone gets inspired by this style, like the designer of the Egg Chair.

Me, I’m seduced by the pink velvet cushions, but of course, for a more sci-fi look, there’s one with white exterior and black interior.

Even if we don’t notice, the wall is one of the most important things in a home. Its colour, its pattern is very significant. The white wall is a canvas, and the only limit of the possibilities is our own good taste.

The swedish Byracka Design creates wallpapers from paintings, paintings from wallpapers, and they serve a very particular taste.

Lena Ylisuvanto is the girl behind the design, who also works as a graphic designer, so we meet her own works on the wall.

She is also open for personal orders. Besides wallpapers, the patterns can be ordered on poster, on canvas, and there’s a special enviromental friendly shopping bag as well.

I’m sure everyone went through the phase when they ripped toys apart just to see what’s inside. In my life, the victim wasn’t only the radio. My favourite robot died this way as well. I could never get over it. This is what remained.

Matt Kirkland american web and industrial designer must have gone through the same, and merited of it by making this photo series of dismantled toys.

The most interesting in the In Vestimentis Ursum series are the photos where the toy is actually scarier than their insides.

When I burned my tights for the zillionth time with my laptop, I was quite happy to be directed to the website, Laptoppárna, that is Laptop pillow in hungarian. I immediately liked the simple name and the simple design that managed still to be appealing to the eye.

Unfortunately for you, the official site is all in hungarian, but mostly it’s about how comfort meets trend, how easy it is to carry and to clean, and how good it is for your health, whereas keeping your hot laptop on your laps is not. We leave it to your imagination why. But the reason why we love this pillow is the feeling of ‘why didn’t I think of this before?’. Sure, I always put a pillow or a big book underneath my laptop. But never tried the two at once!

The pillow is also quite cheap with its price around 40 dollars, and they can be ordered in white, black or pink.
