
To most of my readers, the pattern above might not mean anything. But those who spent enough time in Paris will instantly recognize it. It’s the pattern on the pavement in front of garage doors to slow down cars and as a head-up for passers by.
I’m a bit surprised the pattern isn’t turned into chocolate, but still, it was about time it inspired someone. Alexander Taylor might not have a sweet tooth like I do, as he made a wonderful rug out of this surface.

The Paris rug is hand tufted in India, from 100% wool.
