We’re almost slipping into the ‘Not Safe For Work’ category here, and even though I don’t normally like looking under girls skirts, these photos mesmerized me.

These are a mixture of photography, fashion and product design. The artist is the french Marianne Maric, who shows girls “as a thing conveyed by the “entertainment world”.

The lamp dresses are fully functioning light sources. Originally the idea was to put them in a dark room and let the public switch the “lights” on and off, thus making them a simple household appliance.

The Lamp Girls were exhibited at the Magda Danysz Gallery in the beginning of 2008.
