Oh yes, I like a good re-invention of something so traditional.

The designer is the korean Joonhuyn Kim. The Flat Bulb is only the third of the size of a regular bulb, reducing the cost of packaging and transport. It also makes it easier to store, and less eaiser to break!

The product was introduced at 100% Design Tokyo.
